Special Restaurant Licenses are issued in the Walton County pursuant to 67-2410, Special Act, to bona fide restaurants that have 4,000 square feet floor space in use, at least 100 seats and 51% of gross revenue obtained from nonalcoholic drinks and food sales.

Special Hotel Licenses are issued in the Walton County pursuant to Florida Statute 561.20(2)(a)1 to establishments such as motels, hotels and motor courts with more than 50 rooms and 51% of gross revenue derived from guestroom rentals.
