In the case of Glades County, all of the licenses issued fall under the Florida legislations and Statute 561.20(2)(a)4 and are given to any establishment which is an actual and legitimate restaurant of 2,000 square ft. in permanently covered floor space, as well as other conditions which involve the existence of seating possibilities for 150 clients and the sale of non-alcoholic refreshments or food as a major source of gross revenue (at least 51%). 

Special Hotel Licenses

Glades County also follows the Florida Statute 561.20(2)(a)1 and permits the issuing of liquor licenses to all motor courts, hotels and motels that have more than 80 rooms for guests and generate a majority of their revenue (above 51%) from the renting aspect of the business.
