In Escambia County licenses for restaurants are issued pursuant to Florida Statute 561.20(2)(a)4 to establishments that have 2,000 square feet under permanent cover, can seat 150 clients and more than half of their gross revenue comes from the sale of non-alcoholic beverages and food.
In addition, people who want to obtain a special hotel license should be aware of the fact that in Escambia hotel liquor licenses are issued according to Florida Statute 561.20(2)(a)1, to establishments that have over 100 guestrooms and 51% of their gross revenue deriving from the renting of rooms.
